Welcome to the MARC!
The Moab Arts & Recreation Center offers arts, educational, cultural and recreational programs and events for community children and adults. Since its formation in 1997, the MARC has become a place where community is built. The MARC hosts art and movement classes, art shows, workshops by visiting teachers, and is a community meeting facility.
The MARC is available for rent at an hourly or daily rate. Have your next event, class, wedding, or meeting at the MARC.

MARC Winter Art Classes

ART CLASSES ARE HERE!!
Classes start in January and include Oil Painting, Wood Pyrography, Mask Making, Welding, Drawing, Book Binding, Pastel Drawing, Chocolate Tasting, Origami, Clay & Glass Tiles. Scholarships are ALWAYS available. Call for more details 259-6272 or check out our brochure.
Contra Dance
Dates: February 25, 2012
Dance away those winter blues at the Contra Dance on Sat., Jan. 21st at the MARC! The lesson for beginners is at 7:30pm and the dance starts at 8. No partner or experience necessary. Live music by the Moab Community Dance Band. Your $7 suggested donation will support Grand County school music programs.

Transp*ART*ation
Dates: May 26 to May 27, 2012
The Moab Arts Festival and the MARC present Transp*ART*ation, a 2 day celebration of the Art Car & TranspARTation on May 26th and 27th. Art Cars must register by April 15th.
Artists, students, and community members are invited to create works of art on cars, bikes, skateboards, vaccuum cleaners, roller skates or anything else that rolls. Earn prizes and show your artsy side to the world.
