The Moab Arts and Recreation expands artistic opportunities for the community by offering arts, educational, cultural and recreational programs and events for children and adults. Since its formation in 1997, the MARC has become a place where community is built.

Do you enjoy attending the MARC's annual Mystery Dinner Theater? Ever thought about writing the play? The MARC is holding a script writing contest for this year's play. If you are interested in submitting a script please call the MARC at 259-6272 for guidelines. All submissions will be due by June 30th.
Moab Farmer’s Market 2010 Poster Art Contest
Due Date: March 5th
The Moab Farmers Market is looking for artwork to have on the Market’s annual poster. The poster will be displayed around town and sold at the Farmer’s Market. The contest theme is vegetables, produce, farming, gardens, etc and can be done in anything 2D, including painting, drawing, photography, and mixed media. Each person can submit up to three pieces of artwork. Pieces must be submitted by March 5, 2010 to the MARC. All work must be ready for display and include a wire for hanging. Work will be on display at the March 13th ArtWalk at the MARC, where the public can vote for their favorite. The winner will be announced March 15th. Questions?
