Simply Dance Company Tryouts and Auditions
Dates: August 2nd-August 4th
The Simply Dance Company will be hosting auditions for their fall and spring dance troupe at the MARC on August 2nd from 9-12, August 3rd from 9-12, and August 4th from 9-12 in the Dance Room. If you are interested in signing your child up please contact either Chrystal Braggs at 260-8995 or Lindsey Vacarro at (801)592-4965.
LifeLine Screenings
Dates: August 13th
LifeLine Screenings will be offering health screenings at the MARC for stroke, osteoporosis, and more from 8am to 5pm in the Dance Room. For more information about the screenings please visit LifeLine's website at http://www.lifelinescreening.com.
Eric Temple Film Making Workshop
Dates: August 23rd-August 28th
The Moab to Monument Valley Film Commission will be offering their annual Eric Temple Film Making Workshop. The workshop, lead by acclaimed film maker Eric Temple, will be a six day seminar on the basics of filmmaking. Workshops will include screenwriting, film equipment operations, gathering footage, and editing in Final Cut. Space is limited to 12 people for the 6-day seminar, so be sure to sign up today! Confluence Literary Festival
Dates: October 21st-24th
The Moab Confluence Literary Festival is a weekend event featuring writing workshops, author readings, presentations, and discussions. This year’s theme is "Water" and will feature authors specializing in WATER! We are pleased to announce children’s author Debra Frasier has already signed on to teach writing and illustration workshops.
